Study of variability the spatial distribution of pyrite ores components in soil

The distribution of some special chemical elements emitted by the one of copper mining enterprise monitored is researched. The research is aimed to find any specific regularity for such element distribution in a primitive soil.
In order to do it the primitive copper slag soil is used as a model for studying. The soil was generated on the old copper slag dump after copper-smelter of XVIII–XIX centuries. Some data on the ore chemical elements quantities distribution in the different coarse soil fractions are considered. Apart of it the same is done for grass and, separately, in clumsy part of herbs is considered also. Several ranks of the concentration coefficients for chemical elements in fractions are constructed. The selective selenium accumulating in the land part of vegetation is established. It is noted that the root part of plants is characterized by the high ability to of heavy metals. The grass root looks to be the main ore chemical elements accumulator for plants. And it is specialized on: Sb–Cu–Se–Zn–Pb–Bi–Cd. This is all the spectrum of the ore components emitting by mining plant submitted to monitor. It is noted - the vegetation and its roots show the evident ability to limit elements accumulation arriving. Even if the grass carrying soil is abundant with heavy metals there is some amount limit in a plant. It looks like all the plant has some organic barrier. Irrespective of the deposited components quantity variations in the soil their quantity in land part of plants and/or their roots is evidently limited by internal regulators.
