Study the properties of low molecular weight
marker oxidative degradation of atactic polypropylene |

We have studied the possibility of chemical markers for marking hydrocarbon fuels . As marking agent used polimetilzameschennyh alkane fraction C18–C36, obtained from the oxidative degradation products of low molecular weight atactic polypropylene. Purification of C18–C36 alkane impurities from unsaturated compounds is carried out in an industrial setting within the existing hydrotreating scheme fuel fractions in the gas phase using a hydrogenation catalyst systems. In laboratory conditions, with a small amount of purified alkanes C18–C36 ( up to three liters) used oxidative cleavage of alkenes to ketones, carboxylic acids and strong oxidizing agents under heating with potassium permanganate. Thus, the proposed polimetilzameschennye alkanes C18–C36, used as a chemical marker for petroleum fuels , can reduce the cost of the marker to identify reliably marked with high secrecy fuel applications. Properties marked fuels are not changed. As a result of the work proposed another solution to the problem of safe disposal and qualified , cost-effective use of by-product production of isotactic polypropylene – atactic polypropylene.
