The effect of chemical composition of air on oxidation efficiency by corona discharge |

This article presents the results on the dependence of the efficiency of oxidation of organic compounds by corona discharge . The application of corona discharge while cleaning gas-air mixtures of hazardous organic ingredients. This paper describes the results of experimental and theoretical studies on the cleaning gas-air mixtures , and also examines the influence of humidity and gas mixture and the amount of oxygen contained in the emissions on the oxidation efficiency. Operational parameters determined processes of deep oxidation of corona discharge -gas mixtures containing hexane , toluene , xylene , pentane, and ethanol. Calculated and experimentally determined the minimal amount of gas emissions required to complete the oxidation process.
