THE BIOINDICATION THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT BY THE REACTION WOODY PLANTS (FOR EXAMPLE VORONEZH) |

The article presents the results of the evaluation of fl uctuating asymmetry Populus pyramidalis, which grows in various
functional areas of Voronezh. A change in the indicators of asymmetry of morphological features and the integral value of
leaf fl uctuating asymmetry, due to the infl uence of stress factors of the urban environment. Integral index of asymmetry
varies from 0,052 to 0,114. Suffi cient measurement accuracy (criterion of representativeness Pr≤5 %). In the industrial and
transport areas marked growth rates fl uctuating asymmetry that constitutes a violation of the stability of woody plants. The
total distribution of the fl uctuating asymmetry as a phenomenon characteristic of the study area is described by the equation
of a polynomial curve of the 4th degree. The bioindication used to evaluate the combined effect of pollutants on living
organisms and is of great importance in environmental monitoring. According to results of studies mapped the distribution
of the magnitude of fl uctuating asymmetry in the city.
