THE GEOECOLOGICAL EVALUATION
OF URBAN AREAS BIOINDICATING
METHOD (FOR EXAMPLE VORONEZH) |

The task of non-invasive control and observation of groundwater location and condition receives increasing attention because
any impact on the subsurface structure that include drilling may cause disastrous effects: water contamination, riverbed
change, drain etc. The algorithms for modelling of water contamination scattering are constructed to develop management
strategies of risk of groundwater contamination. The paper reviews an approach to monitoring of location of groundwater
and water contamination based on the measurement of electrophysical parameters of underground layers using GROT 12
superpowerful monopulse georadars. Examples of groundwater detection in regions with different geological structures of
the subsurface section are presented. Characteristics of the equipment used for the determination of underground water
inclusions at different depths are provided. Examples of ecological monitoring of water bodies for the control of fresh water
pollution are presented.
