Orlovskaya The article is devoted to the basic rules of safe work specialists in stationary analytical laboratory, which is a combination of specially equipped spacious and bright spaces, each adapted to studies of samples of the objects of the natural environment (air, water and soil) of different physico-chemical methods for the purpose of quantitative determination of concentrations of specifi c pollutants. In this part of the scientifi c reports in detail the issues associated with construction of calibration characteristics, rules for the treatment of gas cylinders and their labeling adopted in the Russian Federation, major faults, in which their operation is prohibited. Special attention is paid to fi rst aid for various injuries (poisoning by solid reagents and gaseous substances, the hands cut glass, burns hot objects, acids, alkalis, etc.) that may occur when performing quantitative chemical analysis.
