Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back THE FIELD WORK TRAINING FOR PREPARATION OF SPECIALISTS ON GEOECOLOGIСAL MONITORING D.D. Badyukov, I.L. Margolina The article is devoted to the training of specialists in the fi eld of Geoecology and environmental Sciences. Field practice on monitoring of aquatic ecosystems is special stage in such preparation. Organization of practice is based on scientifi cmethodological and theoretical basis of geoecological research. It forms a connection between previous theoretical courses and fi eld studies. It is described the main stages of fi eld practice: measurement and sampling, laboratory work, data analysis and report writing. It is provided recommended methods and equipment used for each of the stages. As an example, experience of environmental management department of geography faculty of Lomonosov’s Moscow State University is reviewed. Field practice takes place on the Mozhaisk reservoir on the educational and scientifi c station «Krasnovidovo». Data from long term studies obtained on 31 monitoring stations are analyzed. These data are provided information on the distribution of the studied hydrochemical parameters of water on the water area and transverse profi le.
