Lunev In modern conditions the increasing value in the economy of developed industrial countries acquires increasing the effi ciency of use of secondary resources (SR). One of the important factors contributing to the growth of recycling technogenic origin is their increasing negative impacts on humans and the environment. One of the areas for compensation of this effect is the decrease in the volume and hazard of waste generated, reducing the material and energy intensity of production, maximum use of renewable resources, reuse and recycling, fuel use and thermal degradation and reduced power dissipation of toxic substances generated during waste processing. The article presents the results of the analysis of environmental effi ciency of various technologies and methods of processing of secondary building resources (SBR). Identifi ed the shortcomings of thermal processing method of SBR as a source of dangerous emissions into the environment. The modern world trends in recycling of municipal solid waste (MSW). Proposed cycle of processing of SBR, excluding thermal processing step. Identify areas where the use of different SBR as secondary material resources: fi nished products, semi-fi nished products and raw materials.
