Age dynamics of aminotransferases activity in blood serum of highly distributed Black Sea fish specie scorpion fish Scorpaena porcus inhabited two Sevastopol bays impacted different level of anthropogenic pollution was studied. Enzymatic activities changed with age increasing which connected with the peculiarities of fish physiological status. Environmental pollution significantly modified general aging processes in fish organism which influences on enzyme activities. Aminotransferases activity may be used as biomarkers for the evaluation of fish status and their environment. Key words: aminotransferases; fish age; pollution; marine fish.
