Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back THE STUDY OF ICE DRIFT IN OKHOTSK SEA WITH RADAR E.A. Tikhonchyuk, A.I. Zaytsev, V.I. Filatov Expanding our knowledge of the system of land-sea constantly hampered by the inability to regularly collect data and make observations in the coastal zone, especially during storms. With all the variety of functional capabilities of modern robotic systems the possibility of their use in the context of the study of coastal zones are extremely limited. Areas of scientifi c and engineering research in the coastal zone are: the study of waves, currents, sediment transport; the study of ecosystems and coastal biodiversity assessment organisms; inspection and monitoring of environmental conditions and anthropogenic load on nature; bathymetric studies. In article the relevance of development and use of special mobile robotic basic and traction systems of ecological data, necessary for collection, in a zone of a surf and diagnostics of the environment in coastal areas are considered. The existing analogs are shown. The original design of the chassis of a research mobile complex is presented. The main directions of further researches necessary for development and creation of the studied mobile systems are shown. Keywords: ice conditions; ice drift; monitoring.
