Abdrakhimov, S.N. Pichkurov, A.K. Kayrakbaev, E.S. Abdrakhimova The paper shows that environmental degradation is reasonably related to pollution of the atmosphere. Long-term storage of production waste contributes to harmful substances and heavy metal ions trapped in the water and soil. For storage only mining waste in Russia as a whole employs more than 500 000 hectares of land, and negative impact of waste on the environment manifests itself on the area exceeding the area of 10...15 times. One of the most promising areas for the use of waste production is – involving them recycled as secondary material or energy resources. Due to the involvement of industrial waste in the production of ceramic bricks may radically change the parameters of the raw material base of Russia, which also contributes to reducing environmental impact in the regions. The production of ceramic materials – one of the most material-intensive sectors of the economy, so the rational use of fuel, raw materials and other material resources becomes a decisive factor in its successful development in the conditions of ongoing economic reforms. In this regard, the use of ceramic materials waste materials is of particular relevance. The following compounds by using the clay part of «tails» of gravity zircon-ilmenite ores and electroplating sludge are to develop innovative proposals for reducing negative impacts of toxic waste processing on environmental objects, the novelty of which is confirmed by Patent of the Russian Federation.
