Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Assessment of heavy metal toxicity using aquatic higher plants Ipatova V.I., Dmitrieva A.G. The method of biotesting of water with higher aquatic plants is described. The growth kinetic and chrom accumulation by higher aquatic plant Elodea canadensis Rich. was studied under the influence of potassium dichromate. The growth differences of E. canadensis were connected with the different level of chrom accumulation in the presence of different potassium dichromate concentrations. E.
