Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back MULTIFACTORIAL DEPENDENCE OF MARINE NOISE FROM HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS V.G. Ivanov This article considers a method of obtaining a multifactor dependence of the spectral density of marine noise from hydro meteorological conditions. Comparing to well known one-dimensional dependencies of sea noise on individual factors the multidimensional dependence allows quantifying of the contribution of each factor to the overall dependence, which allows more accurate assessment of the monitoring results the marine environment and predicting the effectiveness of hydroacoustic monitoring equipment in different situations. The article Is illustrated with an example of calculating the three-factor dependence on the basis of experimental data.
