Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back EVOLUTION OF ORGANISMS AND THE MAIN PARADOX OF ECOLOGY S.V. Belov The nontraditional point of view on ecology is given. It is shown that nature protection approach in the methodological plan is incomplete and insuffi cient. The degrading role of such manifestation of endogenous activity of Earth as a volcanism is illustrated. On the example of evolution of organisms in geological history it is shown that the main paradox of ecology is the following: what is good for the certain individuals is the bad for population development. It is indicated the need of development critically to perceive known paradigms of ecology and creatively to approach to the problem.
