Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back SCIENTIFIC BASIS OF MONITORING OF ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTS S.A. Yankovsky, N.N. Roeva, S.S. Voronich, N.N. Grebyonkin, D.A. Zaytsev, N.S. Voronich In the presented article the scientifi c bases and theoretical researches, executed basically by scientists and experts of the USSR and the Russian Federation on problems of creation of multilevel systems of ecological monitoring are considered. The authors give the main provisions and key defi nitions of this concept, developed by the experts of the UN Scientifi c Committee on the Environment, an alternative concept of IP is presented. Gerasimova, who gave monitoring, in addition to the classical functions, also the management function, the structural diagram of monitoring by Yu.A. Israel as an information system for observing, assessing and predicting changes in the state of the environment, created to distinguish the anthropogenic component of these changes against the backdrop of natural processes, and the modern interpretation of «monitoring» by Professor A.Z. Razyapova as a system of constant observations of environmental objects and the biosphere as a whole by measuring the relevant parameters and characteristics with scientifi cally based goals and programs.
