PECULIARITIES OF METHODICAL APPROACH AND PROSPECTS OF IDENTIFICATION OF OIL POLLUTION OF BOTTOM SEDIMENTS OF AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS |

This article is devoted to the problem of the absence of maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants for bottom sediments of water bodies in Russia. The regional standards for the content of pollutants in the bottom sediments of St. Petersburg, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, etc. are considered. The results of the study of oil-contaminated water bodies in the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug are presented. Analytic parameters that allow to identify the type of contamination of bottom sediments, to estimate the quantitative content of technogenic oil pollution, to assess the specifi c features of the composition of pollutants are revealed in the work. The quantitative changes of the regional norm in the territory of KhMAO – Ugra (0,9...5 g/kg) and its application for the geochemical characterization of the initial state of water bodies on the territory of licensed areas are recommended.
