PHYSICAL AND ENGINEERING ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES OF TECHNOGENIC CHANGES OF SUBSOIL IN THE COURSE OF FIELD DEVELOPMENT

In the process of mineral resources development, the Earth’s lithosphere is subjected to the most large-scale changes in its physical state, part of which, having economic value at the present stage of civilization development, is destroyed, extracted to the surface and included in the turnover of matter and energy of human engineering and physical life-support systems of mankind. With regard to the first case, the diversity of engineering and technological solutions used in the development of solid mineral deposits can be combined into several groups, each of which in its own way affects the properties of natural objects of the lithosphere, characterized by certain geomechanical parameters, dynamics and scale of the consequences of man-made invasion of the lithosphere. The second component of the ecological consequences of the damage caused to the lithosphere during the development of its mineral resources includes changes in the environment (geological, biological, anthropogenic...) caused by the destruction of the lithosphere for economic purposes. A characteristic feature of the main technogenic factors of mining is the development and expansion in time of the size of the zones of environmental damage. Therefore, measures to reduce this damage should be aimed either at the complete elimination of the sources of infl uence or at limiting their intensity to biologically based norms. The analysis clearly shows that the management of the impact of mining on the environment in order to minimize environmental damage from mining by internal content is a process of combining two separate systems: «Nature», «Technology», each of which operates through the interaction of its own, in a certain way, organized elements. Both of these systems are in a relationship where the absolute priority of the interests of one means the termination of the operation of the other.
