Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back ASSESSMENT OF SOILS OF FUNCTIONAL ZONES OF THE SOUTH-WESTERN ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT OF MOSCOW BASED ON HEAVY METAL CONTENT O.E. Dryabzhinskiy, V.M. Zubkova, N.Yu. Belozubova, A.V. Gaponenko This article analyzes the soil condition of the South-Western Administrative District for the content of heavy metals, also conducted a cluster analysis based on the total rate of pollution and the concentration of heavy metals in the soil at each site. Most of the studied sites (16 points) are characterized by a satisfactory environmental situation, two points have an extremely dangerous level of pollution, these sites are located in the northern part of the South-West Administrative District near the Donskoye and Cheryomushki industrial zones. During the research, 6 clusters representing various types of heavy metal associations were identified. The largest cluster consists of 14 points, with similar associations of heavy metals and a total pollution indicator not exceeding 31. Clusters characterized by a high and very high degree of pollution are confined to roads and industrial zones. Keywords: heavy metals; soil; cluster analysis; total pollution index.
