RADIAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE CONCENTRATION OF A PURIFIED RADIOACTIVE SOLUTION IN THE WELL |

Asymptotic expressions are obtained for determining the radial profiles of the density of liquid radioactive waste in a well when pumping into underground horizons. The expression describing the radial profile of the liquid waste density is obtained from the solution of the conjugation problem about the field of impurity densities in a radioactive solution in the first asymptotic approximation. The determination of the first asymptotic coefficient required the formulation and analysis of the problem for the remainder term. On the basis of the analysis, nonlocal average integrated initial and boundary conditions at the wellhead are determined, which provide a unique non-trivial solution of the problem. Expressions for the first coefficient of the asymptotic expansion are used to estimate the accuracy of the zeroth approximation.
