Maryev, L.Ya. Shubov, S.I. Ivankov, I.G. Doronkina The study presents the results of analytic research of the problem of the mining and metallurgy industrial wastes. The chemical composition and behavior in technological processes of slags and tailings as a tethnogenic raw material are considered. The directions of used mining and metallurgy industrial wastes is shown. It is noticed that storage of waste in the dumps of waste leads to environmental pollution. The technological aspects of waste treatment, including extraction metals from stags and tailings and the advantages its use in construction (as a mineral concrete admixture) are considered.
