New methods and facilities of suppressing forest fires based on the new concepts of fighting this natural disaster are described. Based on theoretical and experimental investigation it is stated, that localization and subsequent suppressing of the fires can be performed by means of a detonation of a bomb using small power expenditure concerning energy release caused by fires.
