Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSMENT OF THE URBAN SUSTAINABILITY BASED ON THE INTEGRAL SUSTAINABILITY INDEX BY THE EXAMPLE OF MOSCOW R.R. Generalov, E.B. Kruchina The available methods of quantitative assessment of urban sustainability and the possibilities of state statistical data usage for them were analyzed. Suggestions for improvement of the methodology of the integral stability index (ISI) were developed. The ISI was calculated for the city of Moscow for the period from 2007 to 2017 according to the old method and with the changes. The key components of the IIU are determined in accordance with the dynamics of the index for 2007–2017.
