THE STUDY OF POSSIBILITIES OF SOLVING ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS VEIN DEPOSITS DUE TO A DECLINE IN THE VOLUME OF MINING WASTE AT THE STAGE OF STOPING ORE |

The development of low-power ore deposits is traditionally accompanied by the issuance of the earth’s surface of a large amount of solid waste in the form of large fractions of waste rock and fine tailings enrichment. A significant part of the latter is formed due to the high dilution of ore at the stage of treatment dredging. This decrease is possible on the basis of current methods of monitoring the situation of ore body with its further selective breaking. The technique provides for continuous measurement of the content of the useful component in the process of drilling explosive wells, as well as drilling and testing of additional exploration fans, the distance between which is determined by the proposed method, taking into account the degree of variability of the position in the space of the contours of industrial mineralization, followed by the explosion of those sections of wells that are in the ore part of the massif. Reliable measurement of the boundaries of the ore and the barren sections of the veins within the beats volume and a comparison of the size of the latter with the drilling and blasting parameters has allowed to introduce a new concept of the technological coefficient of ore content of the unit as the waste area to the total. Continuous measurement of this indicator in the process of breaking the block allows more accurate determination of the actual values of losses and dilution of the mined ore mass. Experimental verification of the proposed method of control of industrial mineralization contours showed high efficiency of its application in the development of steep-falling veins of complex structure.
