Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back ESTIMATION OF THE WAVE CLIMATE OF THE COASTAL ZONE USING AUTONOMOUS MOBILE MEASURING COMPLEXES P.O. Beresnev In this article a combined system (terrestrial and underwater complexes) of determining the parameters of sea waves, based on contact and non-contact measurement methods are presented. An algorithm for determining a significant wave height, based on a calibration table that relates data obtained using contact and non-contact methods is implemented. A technique of coastal zone comprehensive researches using a combined system for determining the sea waves parameters for a particular off shore zone are developed. The wave climate in the coastal zone of Sakhalin Island are studied. Fragments of the test and an example of the generated information table are presented.
