CHEMICAL PROCESSES AND FORMS OF ELEMENTS IN THE ATMOSPHERE |
N.N. Roeva, D.A. Zaytsev, N.N. Grebyonkin, S.S. Voronich
Under the conditions of modern environmental management, the atmosphere is exposed to the most intense pollution, as a result of which it receives up to 1 million pollutants, mainly from anthropogenic sources, which are diverse and numerous. Monitoring data indicate that carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, suspended solids, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons are emitted into the atmosphere in the largest quantities. These substances account for 76% of all emissions. However, anthropogenic emissions of heavy metals, which are highly toxic pollutants, and their labile forms, which determine the features of migration of these toxicants and the possibility of long-range and transboundary transport, are particularly dangerous. Therefore, the atmosphere, due to its multicomponency and complexity of the processes occurring in it, is a complex object of environmental research. The proposed article describes the main chemical processes occurring in the atmosphere and the forms of elements in the atmosphere.
