Zheltobryuhov This article addresses the problems of waste management in terms of energy value. We are giving the morphological composition and energy value of components of one of the most common wastes of production and consumption – MSW. The influence of such factors as separate waste collection, infrastructure development and seasons of the year on the ratio of components of MSW is considered. The energy value of the components of the waste and pyrolysis products suitable for use as a fuel is analyzed in comparison with some types of natural fuel.
