METHODOLOGY OF QUANTITATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE SIZES OF THE ZONE OF TECHNOGENIC DAMAGE OF BIOTA IN FORMATION OF STORAGES OF LARGE-DISPOSED SOLID WASTES OF MINING |
A.N. Proshlyakov
A study was conducted to assess the level of impact of mining waste on natural biota adjacent to the border of the dump. A mechanism is proposed for the formation of a dynamic ecotone and a computational scheme for determining its linear size. It is shown that a dynamic ecotone, the width of which is determined by the diameter of the largest fraction, is structured into elementary sections whose size is proportional to the average diameter of a single piece of the fraction placed here. To determine the degree of technogenic damage to biota within the dynamic ecotone, an indicator of the projective cover of biota by the breed is proposed. The degree of increase in environmental load when creating dumps can be estimated by the secondary impact coefficient. A technique is proposed for calculating the real area of technogenic damage to biota when placing a waste dump, as well as the coefficient of secondary environmental impact.
Keywords: solid waste; dump; natural biota of the Earth; dynamic ecotone; patterns of distribution of fractions; index of projective cover; coefficient of secondary environmental impact.
