FEATURES OF MODELING OF ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION TRANSPORT PROCESSES IN ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING |
N.N. Roeva, S.S. Voronich, I.A. Zaytseva, A.V. Bykov, A.G. Khlopaev
Environmental protection, environmental management and environmental safety remain among the most socially significant problems of the early ХХI century and affect the interests of most countries of the world. Russia is no exception with its vast territory and powerful natural resource potential, which has no analogues in terms of mineral resources, water resources, and the diversity of the animal and plant world. The growing attention paid to these problems is due to the fact that the negative consequences of large-scale anthropogenic impacts on natural ecosystems at the regional level and on a global scale are becoming very noticeable. A key role in solving the above problems should be played by more effective environmental monitoring systems based on the use of modern computational models that allow obtaining initial information for further assessment of the state and dynamics of natural and man-made ecosystems. The article presents an overview of the currently used mathematical models for calculating pollution with an indication of their main advantages and disadvantages.
Keywords: Environmental monitoring; atmospheric pollution; mathematical models; nitrogen and carbon oxides.
