Passive sampling is based on diffusion of molecules of selected substances from analyzed air to an absorber under action of a gradient of concentration which allows to define the concentration of polluting substances average on time in atmospheric air. Theoretical bases of this method are stated. It is analyzed the external factors influencing for work of passive samplers: speed of a wind, temperature of air, pressure, humidity of air, the maintenance of others polluting.
