METHODS OF CONDUCTING ENVIRONMENTAL DIAGNOSTICS IN URBANIZED GEOSYSTEMS OF INTRACONTINENTAL INTERMOUNTAIN HOLLOW (ON THE EXAMPLE OF TRANSBAIKALIA) |

The article proposes a variant developed by the author of the methodology for conducting environmental diagnostics in urbanized geosystems of intracontinental intermountain hollow. To determine the characteristic objects in this scientific work, the ranking of the federal districts of the Russian Federation on the environmental safety of the air was carried out. As a result of the rating, it was determined that the cities on the priority list in which the highest levels of atmospheric pollution are IZA5, in particular substances of the 1st hazard class –benz (a) pyrene, are mainly located within the Siberian Federal District.The mountainous country of Transbaikalia and characteristic objects – the intracontinental intermountain hollow of the Transbaikal type – Chita-Ingodinskaya and Tugnuiskaya – were selected for conducting environmental diagnostics. The carried out atmoecodiagnostics of characteristic objects showed that the influence of the climatic conditions of the inland continental intermontane hollow affects the accumulation of dangerous concentrations of pollutants and a high ISA, much more than 14. All these negative factors affect the incidence of respiratory diseases and life expectancy, exceeding the national indicators.
