AN ANALYSIS OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE «CLIMATE SOCIETY» SYSTEM |

The problems considered in this paper include wide spectrum of theoretical and applied tasks solution of which inevitably lead to the problem of global climate change. A search of the causes of these changes is came to the synthesis of geoecological information-modeling system (GIMS) involving the most signifi cant direct and indirect correlations in the environment. Therefore, critical weighed analysis of existing approaches to the defi nition of sustainable development of present civilization and choice of the most adequate criterion for the humanity survivability is the subject of this paper. A sustainable development problem is considered together with the globalization problem taking into consideration of different factors connected with irregular economic, politic and social development of countries. Actual data are discussed concerning the natural resources use and environmental changes that reflect global ecodynamics of present consumption society and its perspectives. Under this, specific attention is given to the problem connected with energy consumption and to the water resources. It is marked that modeling the dynamics of the world population size is important component of sustainable development.
