Gavrileva The subject of the research is due to the fact that recently in Yakutia, the improvement and greening of rural settlements is one of the most important areas of activity of the municipality [1]. It is landscaping that creates the necessary conditions for improving the environment and improving the quality of life of the population. The presence of green spaces in rural municipalities is one of the most favorable environmental factors. Green spaces actively purify the atmosphere, condition the air, reduce the noise level, and prevent the occurrence of adverse wind conditions. The purpose of the work is to generalize the theoretical foundations for the organization of landscaping and landscaping in municipal areas, to study the experience of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in this area, and to develop recommendations for the organization of landscaping and landscaping at the municipal level.
