MAP DATABASE GEOECOLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS MI-FE GIS |

The database was created by a team of authors to store the results of many years of field research and to carry out research work. The collection, processing and interpretation of Earth remote sensing (ERS) data for mining areas and alluvial nodes, including man-made deposits, was carried out. The models for assessing the stress state of the earth’s crust, as well as forecasting natural and man-made catastrophic phenomena and environmental risks during the exploitation of mineral deposits (MPI) on the basis of the Komsomolsk, Khingansky, Albazinsky, Nizhneamursky, Dalnegorsky, Kavalerovsky, Priargunsky, Malmyzhsky mining regions, have been finalized. Im-provement of the method of processing and interpretation of remote sensing data based on classification algorithms for assessing environmental risks for mining areas with exploited and decommissioned mineral resources, identifying geographically close alluvial deposits, identifying areas with a complex composition of useful compo-nents for the purpose of joint processing of rock mass at a stationary flushing device and optimize the placement of this device. When forming the cartographic base, the most common geodata formats were used, which are de facto international standards for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Therefore, they can be used by many computer GIS applications and can easily exchange data between them. The main formats are: ESRI SHPE – vector format and GeoTIFF – georeferenced raster format.
