PRODUCTION ON THE BASIS OF WASTE OF BURNT ROCKS – INTER-SHALE CLAY AND NON-FERROUS METALLURGY – ALKALINE ETCHING MUD OF EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT BRICKS |

Samara and many other regions are at risk of becoming one of the epicenters of devastating earthquakes. And the cause of cataclysms can be not only natural earthquakes, but also the activity of a person who uses barbaric methods to extract minerals and turn rivers back. Most clay materials in the Russian Federation are classified as semiacidic and acidic, and not baked with a high content of coloring oxides (Fe2O3>3 %) and a low content of aluminum oxide (Al2O3=12...15 %). With such a content of aluminum oxide in clay components, it is impossible to get bricks of M 125 or more grades from them. For the construction of load-bearing walls of the lower floors of highrise buildings (15 floors or more), ceramic bricks of grades M 150...M 300 are required. The main reserve for obtaining high-quality ceramic bricks and stones is the use of highalumina waste from non-ferrous metallurgy as a thinning agent. It is obtained on the basis of waste oil shale-inter-shale clay, which was used as a clay binder and non – ferrous metallurgy waste-alkaline etching sludge containing more than 70 % A12O3 and used as a thinning agent, earthquake-resistant brick, without the use of natural traditional raw materials.
