Radkevich The article deals with the results of comparative study of the influence of mineral («Basacote Plus 6M») and organic («Ekogum complex», «MaKloR» (in 5 and 10% concentrations)) fertilizers on the biochemical composition of fruits the earlyripening (Ben Lear) and late-ripening (Stevens) varieties of large-fruited cranberry in experimental culture on recultivated areas of peat deposits of high type in Smolevichi (Minsk region) and Dokshytsy (Vitebsk region) districts. The use of mineral and organic fertilizers led to a significant transformation of the biochemical composition of fruits In both research sites. Against the background of interregional, interseasonal, intervariant and genotypic differences, the dominance of cumulative trends in the content of most organic compounds was established. In Smolevichi district, the tested agricultural practices contributed to the maximum increase (4,2–13,6 times) of the integral level of nutritional and vitamin value of Ben Lear berry products (the highest when using the mineral fertilizer «Basacote Plus 6M» and «Ekogum complex»; the lowest when applying «MaKloR» (in 10% concentration)). In the Stevens variety, such increase was 2,4–4,6 times with the highest and similar efficiency of 5% «MaKloR» and mineral fertilizer «Basacote Plus 6M» and the lowest and also similar effectiveness of «Ekogum complex» and 10% «MaKloR». In the conditions of Dokshytsy district only the use of organic fertilizers provided a more signifi cant improvement in the quality of Stevens variety fruits in terms of biochemical characteristics than in the Smolevichi district (by 3,3–9,7 times with the maximum efficiency of 10% «MaKloR»). The application of the mineral fertilizer «Basacote Plus 6M», regardless of the weather conditions of the season, led to a twofold deterioration in the quality of the fruits relative to the control.
