CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF HYDROBIONTS UNDER CONDITIONS OF GROWTH IN A MEDIUM WITH FULLERENE |
V.V. Ilyinsky, G.A. Dallakyan
As a result of the impact of fullerene at concentrations of 0,1 and 1 mg/l on Ceriodaphnia dubia, the body size of these animals increased (up to 6 %) and their fertility (up to 144 %). In the presence of 10 mg/l fullerene C60 in the nutrient medium of Scenedesmus guadricauda algae, a 25 % increase in the effi ciency of culture photosynthesis was found. In the range of studied fullerene concentrations from 1 to 10 mg/l, algae cells remained viable, while the proportion of living cells remained at the control level (98–99 %). We studied the effect of aqueous dispersions of unmodifi ed C60 fullerene (VDF C60) at a concentration of 5 mg/l on the abundance and metabolic activity of riverine heterotrophic bacterioplankton, as well as the effect of antibiotics on these parameters. The stimulating effect of VDF C60 on its abundance and on the activity of the electron transport chain in cells was shown. its composition. It was also found that in the presence of VDF C60, the bactericidal activity of antibiotics decreases. It is concluded that growth stimulation is observed in all planktonic organisms in the presence of fullerene, with ceriodaphnia being the most sensitive to its presence.
