Shvets Synchronous parts of recordings of a laser hydrosphere pressure variation meter installed on the shelf of the Sea of Japan at a depth of 25 m, a laser nanobarograph, and laser strainmeters with measuring arm lengths of 52,5 and 17,5 m were processed. It is established that the level of "surf noise" in the frequency range of 1–5 Hz correlates with the change in the maximum period of progressive wind waves recorded by a laser meter of hydrosphere pressure variations.
