Zaitseva, M.Yu. Tolikina This paper presents the results of changes in the hydrological parameters of the water layers of Lake Tunaicha located in the southeastern part of the island. Sakhalin. In October 2022, a group of SCB researchers THEMSELVES carried out fullscale measurements of hydrological parameters at various points of the lake and the Krasnoarmeysky Strait connecting the lake with the Sea of Okhotsk. The measurements were carried out by the autonomous probing measuring station "PAGIS" [1–4], developed by SRB AMR FEB RAS using AANDERAA sensors. The station makes probing measurements in the liquid column from the surface to the bottom in the specifi ed horizons, automatically transmitting the measurement results over the radio channel to the information collection and processing center in automatic mode. As a result of the measurements, information was obtained that will be used for the conclusions of the commission on the environmental problem of Lake Tunaycha. Analysis of autumn measurements of 2013 and 2022 was carried out. The results show that salinity nearly doubled in Lake Tunaicha's Bauer Point area. One of the reasons for this is due to an increase in the size of the duct, which is confirmed by satellite images.
