MONITORING OF POLLUTION OF SEDIMENTS FOR VARIOUS WATER BODIES OF THE NON-CHERNOZEM ZONE |

The problem of pollution of water basins by heavy metals is an actual still now. For systematization the research of pollution, the objects of different hierarchical levels were selected on the basis of long-term experimental work within the Volga basin. The most danger of water quality was always hidden in the microelements: Hg, Cd, Zn, Pb, Cu, Cr, Co, Ni, Fe, Mn, As. The largest taxon is the bowl of the reservoir with the adjacent territory with the cities and settlements located on it, tributaries of different orders, as the small elements of natural and man-made relief. Urban and settlement agglomerations located on the coasts of reservoirs, unregulated areas of rivers in the watershed territories are smaller in area, but not in the role of the pollution of water bodies. Some input to pollution/purifi cation is made by small rivers, which can contribute to the flow as clean as contaminated silt material into large watercourses. Different area and time modes of surveys are offered for different taxa by hierarchy. The results of special investigations in the smallest areas obtained in practice are presented, and the methods used in the experiments are described. The results of pollution are presented and tendencies of its change in an environment and in the time are marked.
