Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE PHYTODIVERSITY OF TWO MOSCOW PARKS B.M. Kaplan, A.N. Shvetsov The article presents the main results of the study of the phytodiversity of the Moscow parks of culture and recreation "Sokolniki" and "Izmailovsky", during which the method of accounting floristic sections was applied. The method is based on devading the territory under investigation on sections which are physiognomically and botanically homogeneous, separate botanical descriptions of sections are subsequently united. In doing so the degree of spreadness of plant species was determined, as well as some parameters used in geobotanical studies were taken into account. These spatially, historically, and physiographically close territories, although they have common features, also have floristic differences and differences in the role of species in natural communities. The same differences are observed between different sections within the same territory. In both territories, plant species listed in the Red Data Book of the city of Moscow and the Supervisory List of Animal, Plant and Fungal Species that need constant monitoring and observation in Moscow were found.
