Selmen Under the conditions of a vegetation experiment, the effect of an ameliorant from sewage sludge and microbiological fertilizers on the agrochemical parameters of degraded soddy-podzolic sandy loamy soil and the dynamics of morphological parameters of marigolds was studied. It has been established that the joint application of an ameliorant from sewage sludge from urban sewage treatment plants with a complex of microbiological fertilizers («Azotovit» and «Phosphatovit») into the soil contributed to the improvement of the agrochemical properties of the soil: the content of organic matter, mobile forms of potassium and phosphorus, and total nitrogen increased; and improvement of morphological characteristics (plant height, number of flowers, flower diameter, mass of roots and aerial parts of plants). The obtained results of experimental studies on the integrated use of ameliorants based on sewage sludge from urban sewage treatment plants and microbiological fertilizers formed the basis of scientifically based recommendations for improving the environmental sustainability of degraded soddy-podzolic soils of urban areas under anthropogenic impact in order to create comfortable conditions for the urban environment.
