Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back The Effect of Vibration on the Technological and Geometric Parameters of the Packing Absorption Column Golovanchikov A.B., Merentsov N.A., Churikova V.I., Zalipaev P.P. A comparison of the process and geometric parameters of the packed absorption column is given, calculated according to a typical algorithm and an algorithm that takes into account the amplitude and frequency of vibration generator oscillation. The effect of vibration is taken into account by adding the rate of oscillation to the general equation of the fl ow rate of the air being cleaned. On the example of calculation of a small-sized absorber installed in treatment facilities - ventilation wells of waste water during air purifi cation from hydrogen sulfi de, the infl uence of vibration makes it possible to reduce the packing height by more than 2 times.
