Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back On the Tasks and Methods of Studying the Floristic Diversity of Natural and Historical Territories Kaplan B.M. The problem of the applicability of the concept of fl ora in relation to natural and historical territories is discussed. The specifi cities of the tasks of the fl oristic study of such territories are shown in comparison with the traditional study of the fl ora. The possibilities of applying current methods of fl oristic research in the case of a natural-historical territory are discussed. The method of accounting fl oristic sections developed by the author, which was applied in the study of the Moscow parks of culture and recreation " Sokolniki" and " Izmaylovsky", is proposed. The principles of dividing the territory under study into sections within the framework of this method are given. A scale for assessing the local spreadness of the species is proposed. It is shown how the information about individual sections of a natural and historical territory can be combined into a single information system. The article also highlights some methodological issues related to educational fl oristic research of natural and historical territories, including those carried out by schoolchildren.
