Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back Analysis of the Acoustous Situation on the Streets of an Industrial City (Using the Example of Murom) Bulkin V.V., Kalinichenko M.V Acoustic noise continues to be one of the most signifi cant external factors affecting humans. Under its infl uence, irritability increases, working capacity decreases, occupational diseases of workers in various industries are formed, fatigue of ordinary residents of cities increases. In an urban environment, one of the main sources of acoustic noise is various types of transport. The paper analyzes the noise situation in the territory of one of the cities of the Vladimir region – Murom. Based on the analysis of traffi c fl ows, tension nodes have been identifi ed in terms of traffi c intensity along the main transport arteries of the city. The results of noise level measurements in these zones are presented. The measurements were carried out in the periods of 7–9 hours, 11–13 hours and 17–19 hours, on working days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is shown that exceeding the level of sanitary standards in heavy traffi c can be signifi cant (from 22 to 38 dB).
