Environmental Comparison of Electric
and Gasoline Vehicles |

The article presents a comparison of the environmental impact of electric vehicles and cars with an internal combustion
engine. When assessing the environmental impact, the following factors were taken into account: consumption of natural
resources, waste generation, water consumption, emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, greenhouse gas
emissions, and electricity consumption. A methodology has been developed that allows quantitative assessment of the
environmental impact of vehicles at various stages of their life cycle. As a result of the analysis of the environmental impact
of vehicles, it was revealed that during the life cycle electric vehicles cause signifi cantly more damage to the environment
compared to gasoline-powered cars.
