Assessment of the Quality of Ash and Slag Waste
from Thermal Power Plants and the Efficiency
of Their Processing |
Shubov L.Ya., Doronkina I.G., Borisova O.N.
Based on an analytical study of a set of patented technological solutions, a methodology for assessing the quality of ASW
as an object of processing and disposal is proposed. A rationale for the feasibility of using such a methodology is given.
Resource-saving technologies for waste processing that have undergone pilot and pilot testing are presented. The reasons for
the feasibility of largescale involvement in the processing and disposal of technogenic raw materials concentrated in artifi cial
accumulations of waste that pollute the environment are considered. It is noted that resource effi ciency characterizes the
resource-saving system in terms of the degree of waste utilization and the quality of the resulting products (while minimizing
costs and environmental risks). The criteria for resource effi ciency of waste and secondary raw material processing are
noted: the degree of waste utilization, technological indicators of the processes used, indicators of new products, specifi c
energy consumption. An assessment of resource effi ciency is given using ASW as an example. The fundamental directions
of ASW processing and disposal and ways to improve their quality as secondary raw materials are shown.
Keywords: technology, waste management, secondary raw materials.
