DEVELOPMENT OF GENERAL SCHEMES
OF ENGINEERING PROTECTION
OF RESIDENTIAL TERRITORIES
FROM MUDFLOW PROCESSES ON THE
EXAMPLE OF YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK |
S.V. Rybalchenko
In this paper, propose an algorithm for creating general schemes for the engineering protection of residential areas from mudflow
processes, indicating the main stages and scope of work, as well as specific work results for each stage and type of work, including
relevant technical reporting documentation (diagrams, maps, sections of the scientific and technical report, etc.) using the example of
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. To carry out the work, the natural and territorial conditions of the mudfl ow formation of the studied territory were
determined, including azonal factors such as possible high-altitude precipitation gradient and anthropogenic impact, the mudfl ow regime
of the territory, parameters of mudfl ow and mudfl ow fl ows, mudfl ow-prone zones and the address list of facilities located in mudfl owprone zones were determined, existing engineering protection structures were analyzed, their effectiveness and disadvantages, including
structural and spatial planning, the scheme of development of the residential area of the city is analyzed Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a strategy for
its protection and the order (sequence) of implementation have been developed.
Keywords: mudflow hazard, general schemes of engineering protection, mudflow, mudflow-prone areas, residential area.
