Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back THE USE OF BANK SAND AS INERT SUBSTANCE OF THE «BOILING BED» APPARATUS IN FLUOROSILICATE SODIUM PRODUCTION T.V. Sharipov, A.G. Mustafin The possibility of using bank sand of 1…4 mm fraction as inert substance in the apparatus of «boiling bed» to produce fluorosilicate sodium has been studied. The research on defining sand stability in technological mediums, the wearability, carry-over and change of fractional composition of substance being dried in the boiling bed has been carried out. By carrying out industrial experiments it has been proved that using bank sand as the substance of boiling bed in fluorosilicate sodium production provides for upgrading the finished product, steady operation of the apparatus of boiling bed of the drying node.
