The spatial, daily, seasonal and long-term variability of the level of air pollution in Saratov is explored. The method of the regional evaluation of the ecological state of atmosphere in a large industrial city is developed. The complex evaluation of air pollution in the Saratov different districts is conducted. The new equation for the calculation of the atmosphere self-cleaning coefficient is proposed subject to the repetition of the temperature inversions. The system of the nature-conservative measures is recommended on basis of the received results for the improvement of the Saratov atmosphere quality.
