Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back A modelling the global nitrogen cycle I.I. Potapov, V.F. Krapivin The analysis of the existing conceptual models and published quantitative data on nitrogen cycle processes make it possible to start the synthesis of the mathematical model of nitrogen global cycle. This paper elucidates the results of the first stage of this work taking into consideration the individual cycles concerning to the separate biosphere regions. Nitrogen is considered here beyond its phase states. Nitrogen cycling reactions and their energy characteristics are presented in the model only in the form of phenomenological coefficients.
